Liquid Integral Crystalline Waterproofing
EUCON VANDEX AM-10L is an integral liquid Permeability-Reducing Admixture for Hydrostatic Conditions (PRAH) for the waterproofing and protection of concrete. The EUCON VANDEX AM-10L proprietary technology incorporates a hydrophilic crystalline structure that reacts with the byproducts of cement hydration to form a non-soluble crystalline structure throughout the capillary pore structure within the concrete. The crystalline structure within the concrete permanently protects the concrete and prevents the penetration of water or other liquids from any direction, including under hydrostatic pressure conditions. The Vandex crystalline chemistry also provides crack healing capabilities in the presence of water. EUCON VANDEX AM-10L contains no added chlorides or chemicals known to promote the corrosion of steel.
